How can I open an account with TradeEU?

In order to open an account you need to click on "Open an Account" and you will be redirected to the registration page where you will have to enter your personal information and set up your account. It's often a good idea to get a feel for the platform by using our Virtual account first.
When you'll be ready to take on the markets for real, there will be a few extra steps to take like funding your account. The whole process is intuitive and user-friendly. Should you need any assistance, our customer care team is standing-by to offer you all the support you need.

What documents do I need to send you?

In order to comply to the KYC (know your customer) process you will need to verify your account by sending us proof of identity and residence. This is a common requirement imposed by regulators and by the CySEC policy. Our support team will be happy to walk you through it step by step should you need assistance.

Why do I have to complete the KYC process?

All regulated financial services providers are obliged to carry out this procedure with all account holders. This procedure is in place to make our trading environment as safe and secure as possible.

What should I do if none of my bills are in my name?

Here are some alternative options:
• Request a certificate of residence from your local authority
• Request a reference letter from your bank confirming your residential address
• Alternatively, your residential address could be verified by a lawyer, the court or the police by providing us with an affidavit.
Please note that in all the above cases, the said document must be dated, signed and carry the seal/stamp of the relevant authority.

Is it possible to lose more money than I deposited?

Risk management is our top concern, that is why we introduced the “Negative Balance Protection” standard which is part of the CySEC regulation package we proudly present to our customers. This feature comes to ensure that your total risk when trading with us is limited to the funds invested by you.

How long does it take to verify and approve my account?

Once you complete your application form and submit your KYC documents the trading account is usually approved within 24 hours, unless additional documentation is requested.

Is there a dormant fee if I don’t use my account?

How can I add funds to my TradeEU account?

Log in to your account, select the "Deposit" option and you will be prompted to a secure page where you can enter the details of your chosen funding method. Funds will be reflected in your account once we have received them.

Is it safe to add funds with TradeEU?

It's surely is. As a regulated financial services provider we ensure the safety of your transactions by employing internationally recognised security protocols when transferring your money known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

In which currencies can I fund my account?

You may deposit funds in your local currency or in any other currency, which will be converted to the base currency you have selected for your trading account according to the bank rate. The client shall bear all conversion charges and banking fees.

In which cases will a deposit be pending?

This could happen because:
• No KYC documents were provided
• The deposit was made by a third party
• The deposit was made by an anonymous account
• The issuing Bank decided to decline it

What information is required if I make a deposit with my credit/debit card?

We will need the following documents to be able to process your deposit:
• Debit/Credit Card Authorization Form (which will be provided by us)
• Copy of the Credit/Debit Card used to deposit the funds (front and back)

You are kindly advised to cover the first 12 digits of your card number (on the front) and the last 3 digits/CVV (on the back). Please make sure that the remaining card details are visible (i.e. name/surname of the CC holder, expiry date and signature).
Please note that the above-mentioned documents will be requested only once per new debit/ credit card used.

What are the charges for deposits?

Which payment methods can I use?

We provide a variety of different payment methods from Credit Cards to Wire transfers. Please refer to the page to view all the available funding methods.

What is the maximum deposit amount?

There is no maximum amount.

How do I withdraw my money?

Log in to your account, select Withdrawal and add the amount you would like to cash out, then click "Confirm". The amount will be reflected in our bank account in up to 72 hours. You will also receive a confirmation email that lets you know that the process has started.

Are there any fees for deposits and withdrawals?

We charge no fees for depositing or withdrawing. In the event that your bank imposes any charges for sending or receiving money from TradeEU, we will not be able to offer any kind of refund.

How can I cancel a withdrawal?

You can cancel your withdrawal request by sending us an email at [email protected], even if your withdrawal request is in the queue for processing.

What can I trade on TradeEU?

On TradeEU you can trade everything that is most in-demand on the markets. We offer 250+ CFDs on the massively popular forex pairs like EUR/USD to Bitcoin, Gold, and Netflix.

Can I trade Bitcoin CFD here?

You can definitely trade Bitcoin. As one of the world's most in-demand trades, all TradeEU users have access to the Bitcoin CFD.

Can I make trades 24/7?

As the markets have fixed trading hours we must follow their schedule. You can open and close positions during live trading hours. The markets are open Monday to Friday whereas Saturday and Sunday they are closed.

What is Forex?

The foreign exchange (also known as forex or FX) market is a global marketplace for exchanging national currencies. Forex is the largest and most liquid asset market on the planet and one of the most actively traded.

What are pips?

Pip is the abbreviation for 'point in percentage'. In the forex market pips are measured in decimals (0.0001). If the AUDUSD price changes from 0.64800 to 0.64810, we say that the variation of 0.00010 USD is 1 pip.

What are spreads?

A Forex spread signifies the variation between the ask and bid price of a currency pair, such as GBP/USD, EUR/USD or USD/JPY. It may be either fixed or variable.

Do trades have to stay open for a fixed amount of time?

You have full control over closing the trades. You can keep them open as long as you want. Same goes for closing them.

Why does the price change as I watch it?

Prices move all the time, especially in the volatile crypto and forex markets. It is normal to see rapid movements in price in live markets.

If I close my account with TradeEU what will happen with my documents?

In accordance with our regulatory requirements we will have to keep your submitted documents, in our records, for 5 years.

Will you inform my tax authority how much profits I made?

No, unless requested by the applicable legislation and/or regulations, in Cyprus or abroad.

Do I have to pay taxes from any profits I made?

TradeEU traders are responsible for their taxation liabilities. Please refer to the legislation applicable in your country and seek independent advice

Are my funds secured?

TradeEU is operated by Titanedge Securities Ltd, which ensures the safety of client funds and consumer protection under the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). Thus, the measures that TradeEU undertakes are as follows:

• Clients’ funds are segregated from the Company’s own funds
• We maintain client and operational bank accounts with EU banking institutions of great repute.
• The Company is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) which ensures that the Company pays compensation to all clients in the unlikely event of the Company becoming insolvent or having to suspend its services. The compensation amount will depend on the prevailing level of clients’ claims.
• As a regulated financial services provider, we are required by law to maintain sufficient liquid capital in order to cover clients’ deposits, possible fluctuations in the Company’s currency positions, and any outstanding costs.
